BOOST Collaborates on Website Project for ATtherapy

BOOST are pleased to announce our collaboration on ATtherapy’s new website, providing content and creating their new strapline ‘Building Richer Lives Through Communication’.

ATtherapy provides a range of speech and language therapy expertise, with specialisms ranging from Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC), Assistive Technology (AT), motor speech disorders, social communication disorders and associated difficulties for adults and children following brain injury.

Combining plain English with persuasive writing

BOOST was asked to work on ATtherapy’s new website content having already developed corporate literature for the business and provided networking training.

Director Dr Jane Tonge explains: “The website is aimed at healthcare professionals, families and carers so we needed to ensure the content was clear, accessible, easy to read and informative. Our approach combined the use of plain English to ensure complex information was clearly presented, together with proven persuasive writing techniques to engage visitors on the site and retain their interest and attention. We also devised a new strapline to help convey ATtherapy’s core offering and aspirations for their clients with ‘Building Richer Lives Through Communication’. It was a pleasure to work on this project and I’m sure ATtherapy’s stakeholders will enjoy visiting the new site.”

Improved website content

ATtherapy is headed up by Directors Hayley Power and Andrea Sharples, both Specialist Speech and Language Therapists. They work with children, young people and adults with learning disabilities or acquired brain injury, developing their ability to communicate and helping to improve their confidence, social interaction and independence.

Hayley Power said: “The content provided by BOOST has definitely improved our website, and we are really happy with it now, as it is better visually and content wise.” Andrea Sharples added: “And we do love the ‘Building Richer Lives Through Communication’ strapline - it's perfect!”
